The wait is finally over. After a long absence, Arc System Works announced  a new game on Guilty Gear franchise: Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-. during the company's 25th year anniversary event.

The game will be in 2.5D, with 3D graphics and 2D gameplay and it's being developed on Unreal Engine. It will be released on Arcades using the new Sega's RingEdge 2 board.

Since this board was released on September 2012, it seems the game will be released only on next generation consoles, as PlayStation 4 and Xbox "Durango".

Direction and soundtrack is in charge of Daisuke Ishiwatari. The trailer song called Heavy Day is voiced by Naoki Hashimoto.

On the trailer we can see the first confirmed characters: Sol Badguy, voiced by Jouji Nakata and Ky Kiske, voiced by Takeshi Kusao. Also in the end of the trailer we can see Millia Rage e Eddie.

Arc System Works also released the official website: http://ggxrd.com/.
